Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a school-based team in Houston, Texas (Aldine ISD Area) for the 20252026 school year. This is an exciting opportunity for a licensed SLPA who enjoys working directly with students and supporting communication growth in a collaborative educational setting.
About the Role
The SLPA will provide speech-language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP. The role focuses on implementing treatment plans, supporting classroom communication strategies, and maintaining strong coordination with campus staff.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver direct and small-group therapy sessions under SLP supervision

Support documentation and student progress tracking

Collaborate with teachers and parents to reinforce therapy strategies

Assist in implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
Qualifications

Active Texas SLPA License

Previous school-based experience preferred

Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills
